Title of thesis: Benefits and risks of Parkrun The thesis dealt with the Parkrun project, which can be classified as outdoor activity. The aim of the thesis was to assess the health and social benefits and risks of Parkrun. This is a research paper, the main sources of information of which were the electronic database EBSCO and the official website of the Parkrun organization, together with electronic articles and reports about Parkrun. When assessing the health benefits and risks of Parkrun, the thesis reached the following conclusions: Parkrun brings physical health benefits in the form of general improvement and maintenance of physical fitness. In particular, it helps to reduce the level of cholesterol in the blood, reduce the risk of obesity, diabetes, and thus represents the prevention of the occurrence of civilization diseases. In addition, it can dampen the symptoms of asthma and help reduce the inflammation of the airways. Risks for physical health can be extreme manifestations of the weather - especially heat or cold. Another risk may be the load on the joints in the case of incorrect technique and the predominant hard surface. Title: Schools in nature in primary education in the Karlovy Vary Region Objectives: To summarize a survey of programme parts of schools in nature at primary schools in the Karlovy Vary region. Methods: The bachelor thesis uses a quantitative approach to research. The necessary information was obtained by the questionnaire survey method. The research sample counted 20 teachers from primary schools in the Karlovy Vary Region. Results: Primary schools in the Karlovy Vary Region organise schools in nature. The main aims are to build a class team and to increase the pupils' understanding of the teacher-pupil relationship. The main activities used in the programme are outdoor trips, hiking and outdoor games. The daily programme consists of a morning lesson, an afternoon spent in nature and various games, while the evening programme includes board games and screenings. Conclusion: According to the results, schools in nature are a popular part of pupils' education in the Karlovy Vary Region outside the traditional school environment. Using experiential learning for non-formal teaching history at secondary schools

Title: Using experimental learning for non-formal teaching of history at lower-secondary schools and for corresponding grades of eight- or six-year grammar schools. Objectives: The aim of this thesis was to create and realize a non-formal educational programme for a 9th graders of lower-secondary schools and for the corresponding grades of eight- or six-year grammar schools, which would serve to complement teaching of history with help of using elements of experiential learning. The secondary aim was evaluate programme by students themselves by using survey. Methods: The research group consisted of 54 students of the 9th graders of elementary school and the corresponding grade of eight- or six-year grammar schools. Data collection was based on using a self administered survey, which contained six closed question and one open-ended question. The data was evaluated with using graphs and descriptive statistics. Results: The survey results show that 53,7 % of the probands had never experienced a similar educational program before. Planning and organization of summer camps is the primary concern of this thesis. All the necessary aspects of organization, such as choosing the right location, creating the daily programme or even the ecological impacts summer camps have on out planet are present. The thesis also offers practical advice and tips for effective management. It can serve as a useful source for future supervisors and other summer camp management as it is a complete guidebook for successful planning and realization of such events. Outdoor activities and sports courses at secondary schools in the Nymburk region

Title: Courses of outdoor sports and activities in high schools of the Nymburk district Aims: The primary aim of this work was to map the offer of courses of outdoor activities and sports in high schools of the Nymburk district. Methods: The results for this work were collected by the for of questionnaires. Seven high schools from the Nymburk district were included in the research of this work, with either personal or electronic communication. The questionnaire contained 17 questions and the collected results were analysed using standard statistical methods. The final findings were visualised and interpreted using graphic charts. Results: We have determined that all the surveyed high schools offer at least two outdoor courses for their students. Private schools offer the most nature activities and sports courses - 6 and 4 courses. The most common offered course was a ski course, which was available at all the surveyed high schools. It was also the most popular course among the students (85,7 %). The second most frequently offered course was an adaptation course (85,7 %), and a 57,1 % of the surveyed schools also offered a water touring course. Title: School in nature in primary education in the Karlovy Vary Region Objectives: Find out the content of schools in nature at the 1st grade of elementary schools in the Karlovy Vary region. Methods: The bachelor's thesis uses a quantitative approach to research. The necessary information was obtained by the questionnaire survey method. The research group consisted of 10 teachers from primary schools in the Karlovy Vary region. Results: The results show that primary schools organize outdoor schools. The program of outdoor schools mainly includes hiking in outdoor activities. Primary schools do not use the help of agencies dealing with outdoor schools, but prepare a program for pupils independently. Title: Gamification and its use in nature Aim: The aim of the bachelor thesis is to create a comprehensive overview of gamification and to describe individual gamification elements in nature. Literature review: I have used the method of document analysis in the literature review. Academic texts available on the Web of Science, ResearchGate, Scopus and ScienceDirect platforms and those dealing with the topic have been the sources for the analysis. The gathered information has been systematically organized into a concise survey. Discussion and conclusion: Gamification is an interesting supporting element in many service areas and professions. It applies the fun concept of games to seemingly ordinary activities. The thesis has described gamification elements, which can be used in outdoor education programmes, and discusses positive and negative impacts on an individual. Based on the literature review and my own experience, we believe that the use of gamification in nature has a rather positive impact on human behavior. The impact of the Mindful camp outdoor course on conscious attention

Title: The impact of the Mindful camp outdoor course on conscious attention Objectives: To investigate the short- and long-term impact the Mindful camp outdoor course had on participants' conscious attention. Methods: This thesis uses qualitative research in the form of semi-structured interviews conducted with five anonymous adult participants of the Mindful camp outdoor course held 13-17 July 2022. The interviews were conducted before the camp, just after the camp, and five months after the camp. An open coding method was used to analyze and evaluate respondent's statements. Results: The three and half days long Mindful camp outdoor course had a positive short-term impact on the conscious attention of all five respondents. Only two of the five respondents felt a long-term impact on mindful attention five months after the camp. The other two were unable to assess the impact, and one respondent dismissed it completely. However, the outdoor environment was rated by all five respondents as very helpful and supportive of the process for practicing mindfulness and developing conscious attention, despite the perceived higher demands of the outdoor environment compared to the indoor environment. Title: Outdoor Activities for Children from Socially Disadvantaged Environments Objectives: The objective of this bachelor's thesis was to propose a set of outdoor games and activities suitable for children from socially disadvantaged backgrounds. Methods: A descriptive-analytical approach was employed, specifically involving content analysis of texts related to the topic of social disadvantage and outdoor games. The gathered information was carefully organized and systematically processed to create a clear and concise summary. Results: A compilation of outdoor games for children from socially disadvantaged backgrounds. Conclusions: The suggested collection of games can serve as a methodological guide for organizers of outdoor programs tailored for children and youth from socially disadvantaged backgrounds. Outdoor activity and sports courses at secondary schools in the Příbram region

Title: Outdoor activity and sports courses at secondary schools in the Příbram region. Objectives: The aim of the diploma thesis was to map the offer of outdoor activities and sports courses at secondary schools in the Příbram region. Methods: The research group consisted of 11 state secondary schools located in the Příbram district. For this research, we chose the method of a questionnaire, which was sent to secondary school principals via electronic communication. Some schools were visited personally. The questionnaire consisted of 21 questions. The obtained data were evaluated using basic statistical methods and interpreted using graphs. Results: All of the interviewed secondary schools organize sports courses for their students in a natural environment. The most frequently organized course is the Adaptation Course, which is organized by all schools approached. The second most frequently organized course is a Ski Course - found in 90.9% of the surveyed schools. Of the courses offered in the questionnaire, 55% of schools answered that students are most interested in the Adaptation Course. In 27% of schools, the greatest interest is in the Boating Course and in 18% in the Skiing Course.
